about

Fresh off the heels of his last single, ‘QUEENSLAND RANGES’, comes the second single from Alexander’s new album titled, ‘I DON’T WISH TO BE LONESOME’.

This new song, penned by William himself, gives the audience a view of a more personal version of the young cattle camp crooner. Reflecting on his own personal hardships and his own desire to simply be happy. There is a beauty and a hopefulness to be found beneath the themes of heart ache and pain.

Written after a long day moving some cattle on his own with only his bay mare for company, Alexander wished to capture the sense of loneliness that’s often felt by those who work the land. Featuring his mates Patrick Wilson on the bass guitar, and Tommy Brooks on the electric guitar, in another example of just how well these boys play together. This one’s sure to make folks feel things.

The rest of the album is due for release in the latter half of 2023.
